December 3rd is Giving Tuesday, and on this day we honor the legacy of Collegiate DECA Alumni Maxwell Blue and are gathering donations for “The Blue Scholarship.” Our goal is to provide two $500 scholarships, allowing university students to attend the International Career Development Conference in San Francisco, CA. Please join us in helping upcoming future entrepreneurs by donating on PayPal or Venmo. Introducing our February member of the month Montse Rosario! As the president of the PVCC chapter, she has created an amazing community and encouraged her members to attend our amazing events. She has also provided many opportunities for her members to explore the universities in the area and see how they can continue to experience the difference ! 💙

Introducing the January member of the month, Matthew Holland! Serving as the University of Arizona chapter president this academic year, he has been successful in securing guest speakers for their chapter including the co-owner of State Forty Eight, himself a DECA alumni. He has also engaged with the alumni of his chapter to offer a Top Golf social and has arranged carpools for members to participate in Phoenix area conferences to ensure members have an optimal experience.

Introducing the December member of the month, Kevin Ta! As a three year DECA member, he has shown a lot of commitment to the organization. Serving as the ASU chapters VP of Finance for the second time this year, he has ensured successful budgeting for the chapter and assistance with receiving funds for conferences.

Introducing the November member of the month, Justine Lugo! Justine continues to be an active member of our association. As the student body president of Chandler Gilbert Community College, she is always utilizing the skills she learns in DECA. Justine assists with recruitment and fundraising efforts, helping AZCDECA raise over $600 of the funds donated at the walk to end Alzheimer’s.
